The application of hedge accounting is highly complex and technical. However, with that uncertainty, FEG can assist clients with cash flow and fair value hedge accounting to better understand the concepts, principles and requirements of the applicable accounting standards.

FEG has established an IFRS 9 focus group that deals with gap analysis between IAS 39 and IFRS 9 and provides advice to clients on their application and strategy.

We also support clients with hedge documentation, the assessment of the appropriateness of their hedge effectiveness testing and assist in the design and automation of various hedge effectiveness testing models.
