KPMG in Uzbekistan

Ulugbek is the initiator, organizer, and participant of a seminar on "Tax control in transfer pricing" for employees of the State Tax Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan. He is also the initiator of the signing of the memorandum of mutual assistance between KPMG and the State Tax Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In addition, Ulugbek’s experience in the tax sphere is more than 13 years in such departments as desk control, currency and export-import operations control, international taxation and relations, as well as tax audit.

Ulugbek also worked as a tax manager of IT Park Uzbekistan, where he advised residents of IT Park in the field of taxation.

Ulugbek has experience working on projects to provide services in the field of transfer pricing, including:

  • Preparation of a complete set of documentation confirming compliance with the arm’s length principle in intra-group transactions (including the provision of intra-group services, royalties, intra-group loans, etc.);
  • Preparation of policies/methodologies in the field of transfer pricing;
  • Conducting benchmarking to determine the market level of remuneration for goods sold, services rendered, work performed, intangible assets transferred according to the arm’s length principle;
  • Preparation of advisory memoranda on transfer pricing issues.
