U.S. BIS amends Export Administration Regulations (EAR) by revising entity list

The Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) of the U.S. Department of Commerce today released a final rule to amend the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) by adding six entries to the entity list, under the following destinations:
- China (2)
- South Africa (1)
- United Arab Emirates (2)
- United Kingdom (1)
The entities have been determined by the U.S. government to be acting contrary to the national security or foreign policy interests of the United States.
The final rule also modifies two existing entities on the entity list: one under the destination of China and one under the destination of Russia.
