No new taxes or revisions to existing taxes were announced.

No new taxes or revisions to existing taxes were announced.

The Northern Territory government’s budget for 2024-2024 was delivered by the Chief Minister and Treasurer on 14 May 2024.

No new taxes or revisions to existing taxes were announced.

KPMG observation

Following the 2023-2024 abolition of stamp duty on transfers and other conveyances of non-land property (read TaxNewsFlash), the lack of any new or revised taxes in the budget may indicate that 2024-2025 could be a quiet year for further territory taxes reform.
