U.S. Treasury website tracking tax guidance under IRA, release on clean energy in colleges and universities

H.R. 5376 (the “Inflation Reduction Act of 2022”)

The U.S. Treasury Department recently launched a website tracking tax guidance issued under H.R. 5376 (commonly called the “Inflation Reduction Act of 2022” (IRA)), listed under the following category headings:

  • Energy generation and carbon capture
  • Vehicles
  • Manufacturing
  • Fuels
  • Efficiency
  • Credit monetization & bonus credit provisions
  • Healthcare
  • Tax reforms


In addition, the U.S. Treasury Department issued a news release highlighting investments in clean energy technology being made by colleges and universities and the potential use of clean energy tax credits enacted in the IRA by higher education institutions to help finance these projects.
