Regulations provide an additional A$4.77 million to the annual exploration cap

The government issued regulations providing the amount of left-over minerals exploration credits allocated to small companies in the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 income years that may be carried over into the 2024-2025 income year.

For the 2024-25 income year, the regulations provide an additional A$4.77 million to the annual exploration cap, which reflects the 2021-22 small company exploration credits that were not utilized within the two-year period and the allocated 2022-2023 exploration credits to small companies that did not raise capital and will be unable to utilize their allocation.
