Japan’s tax agency in December 2023 updated its common reporting standard (CRS) “frequently asked questions” (FAQs) regarding:

  • Installation steps for advance preparation setup for CRS reporting corner
  • Correction of submitted data to incorporate minor language amendments
  • Reporting of undocumented accounts
  • Use of country code and currency code for reporting purposes
