Law No. 1546 of the 2024 General State Budget
Law No. 1546 of the 2024 General State Budget includes the following tax measures:
- Extension of the validity of the financial transactions tax until 31 December 2028
- Amendment to the ICE exemption for transport vehicles (i.e., the second paragraph number 2 of Paragraph I of the Annex to Article 79 (ICE) of Law No. 843)
- Introduction of the following tax incentives for the import and marketing of capital goods and industrial plants destined for the agricultural, industrial, construction, and mining sectors (to be established by the Executive Body through Supreme Decree) effective 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2024:
- Value added tax (VAT) exemption for importation of such goods
- Zero VAT rate for domestic sale of such goods
