The federal government on 15 December 2023 announced that the operational capacity of the single portal for purchases abroad, which is currently 60% in terms of value, will increase to 70%. This may also include the operations of the drawback regime—in line with the previously disclosed schedule.
Therefore, there is a need for new investments in task automation, database review, and greater synergy between stakeholders involved in tax-customs dynamics. Investments in task automation, database review, and improved stakeholder synergy in tax-customs dynamics are necessary for compliance, efficiency, and time savings.
