Finance (No. 2) Bill 2023—released on 7 November 2023—includes further details on some of the announcements made in the 2024 budget (read TaxNewsFlash), as well as some additional proposals. 

Finance (No. 2) Bill 2023 includes proposed amendments to the laws concerning:

  • Income tax
  • Labuan business activity tax
  • Real property gains tax
  • Stamp duty
  • Petroleum income tax
  • Sales tax
  • Service tax
  • Tourism tax
