The Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority (ZATCA) published for public consultation a draft regulation for Zakat collection.

The draft aims to explain the provisions for Zakat collection in Saudi Arabia and to clarify the obligations of Zakat payers and ZATCA. It also introduces changes to current Zakat applications.

The due date to submit comments and feedback on the draft is 17 October 2023.
