OIRA review completed of interim final rule
OMB’s Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA) reported it completed its review of an interim final rule relating to coronavirus (COVID-19) state and local fiscal recovery funds.
OIRA received the proposed regulations for review on May 10, 2023, and completed its review on August 8, 2023.

Now that OIRA review has been completed, Treasury can be expected to release the interim final rule for publication in the Federal Register, but the exact date of publication is not yet known.
