Suspension of tax information exchange with Russia and Belarus

The government of Anguilla on 21 August 2023, announced that Anguilla will suspend tax information exchange with Russia and Belarus in solidarity with the government of the United Kingdom, effective 3 August 2023.

Tax information is shared in a collaborative effort to tackle tax compliance risks. Consequently, Anguilla cooperates with Russia and Belarus by exchanging tax information under the Convention on Mutual Administrative Assistance in Tax Matters.

As a result of the suspension, Russia and Belarus will no longer receive tax information from Anguilla under any of the information exchange agreements, including exchange of information on request (EOIR), common reporting standard (CRS), or country by country (CbC) reporting.
