The Parliament of Hungary on 4 July 2023, passed a draft tax law amendment that includes proposed direct and indirect tax changes relating to:
- Individual (personal) income tax
- Corporate income tax
- Financial enterprises tax (bank tax)
- “Robin hood” tax
- Innovation contribution
- Value added tax (VAT)
- Excise tax
- Public health product tax (also known as “chips tax" or NETA)
- Customs
- Local business tax
- Vehicle tax
- Real estate transfer tax (RETT)
- Financial transaction tax
- Act on the rules of taxation
- Act on the regulation of tax administration
- Government decree on extra profits surtaxes
- Contribution of airlines
