Updated FATCA, CRS system registration user guide

The UAE Ministry of Finance issued the FATCA and common reporting standard (CRS) system registration and data submission user guide, providing general guidance on registering and submitting through the Ministry of Finance FATCA/CRS system website.

In addition, the guide provides instructions and screenshots of the website, walking users through the following issues:

  • User registration through UAE PASS
  • Reporting financial institution registration
  • Assigning user rights and roles
  • Submission of data (annual / nil reporting)
  • Deleting reporting financial institution
  • Maker and checker scenario

The guide also includes video tutorials and a schema guide for system-related technical documentation.
