The South Africa Revenue Service (SARS) on 8 May 2023, issued a reminder that the deadline for the FATCA and common reporting standard (CRS) third-party data annual submissions process for the 2023 reporting period (covering the period from 1 March 2022 through 28 February 2023) started on 1 April 2023 and ends on 31 May 2023.
Submissions of data files and declarations for applicable reportable data types need to be made before the deadline.
SARS encourages taxpayers to make the submissions ahead of the due date in order to avoid any last-minute challenges and potential delays.
