Updated version that includes instructions for financial institutions on the CRS compliance file upload form

Updated version that includes instructions for financial institutions on the CRS complianc

The Department for International Tax Cooperation (DITC) in April 2023 issued an updated version of the DITC portal user guide (v9.3) that includes instructions for financial institutions on the common reporting standard (CRS) compliance file upload form. The form can be submitted by a principal point of contact or secondary user and is used to upload documents based on the compliance request from the DITC. The form can only be submitted upon the DITC’s request for information from the financial institution.

A financial institution name will only be included if they have requested information from that financial institution. In the absence of the financial institution name/compliance reference code on the form after a request is received, the financial institutions can reach out to the DITC via email.
