The Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) of the U.S. Commerce Department today released for publication in the Federal Register a final rule [PDF 293 KB] amending the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) by adding 28 entities under 32 entries to the entity list.
The entities are listed under the following designations (some entities are added under multiple entries, accounting for the difference in the totals):
- Armenia (1)
- China (12)
- Malta (1)
- Russia (10)
- Singapore (1)
- Spain (1)
- Syria (1)
- Turkey (1)
- United Arab Emirates (UAE) (2)
- Uzbekistan (2)
The final rule—effective today, April 12, 2023—also modifies two existing entries on the entity list under the destinations of China and Russia.
