Mongolia has committed to implement the international standard for automatic exchange of financial account information (AEOI) in tax matters by 2026.

Mongolia has committed to implement AEOI by 2026

The Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) yesterday announced that Mongolia has committed to implement the international standard for automatic exchange of financial account information (AEOI) in tax matters by 2026. 

According to the OECD release, the AEOI standard is being implemented on a global scale, with 123 of the 165 Global Forum members [PDF 157 KB] now committed to start automatic exchanges by a specific date and the vast majority having commenced exchanges.
