The House Committee on Ways and Means has scheduled a public hearing for April 19, 2023, entitled “Hearing on the U.S. Tax Code Subsidizing Green Corporate Handouts and the Chinese Communist Party.”
In advance of the hearing, the staff of the Joint Committee on Taxation (JCT) yesterday released a document providing a description of the energy-related tax changes made by Pub. L. 117-169 (commonly called the “Inflation Reduction Act of 2022” (IRA)).
