The Senate Committee on Finance has scheduled a public hearing for March 7, 2023, entitled “Tax Policy’s Role in Increasing Affordable Housing Supply for Working Families.”

In advance of the hearing, the staff of the Joint Committee on Taxation (JCT) today released a document with general background on the tax provisions related to residential housing.
