Amendments providing income tax exemption for small “green” electricity producers approved
The Parliament (Riigikogu) on 15 February 2023 approved amendments to the Electricity Market Act, providing an income tax exemption for small “green” electricity producers (i.e., using renewable energy sources like solar panels or wind turbines)) that sell surplus electricity.
The amendments apply retroactively to 1 January 2022.
