Panama: Deadline for submitting 2021 country-by-country reports extended to 15 January 2023

The deadline for submitting CbC reports corresponding to the 2021 tax year is extended until 15 January 2023.

Deadline for submitting 2021 CbC reports extended to 15 January 2023

Through Resolution No. 201-9507 of 29 December 2022, the deadline for submitting country-by-country (CbC) reports corresponding to the 2021 tax year is extended until 15 January 2023.

The deadline for submitting the notification referred to in Article 3 of Executive Decree 46 of 27 May 2019 (which establishes the regulatory framework for CbC reporting) is also extended to 15 January 2023. Article 3 requires the entity integrating or belonging to a multinational group that resides for tax purposes in Panama to notify the Dirección General de Ingresos (DGI) of the identity and tax residence of the reporting entity, as well as the tax period used by the respective multinational group.
