The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) issued Revenue Memorandum Circular No. 130-2022 (26 September 2022) to extend the electronic filing / filing of returns (BIR Forms 2550M, 2550Q and 2551Q) and the payment of corresponding taxes due, as well as the submission of reportorial documents that fall due on 26 September 2022 until 27 September 2022.
The extension is provided after inclement weather brought about by super typhoon “Karding” where work in government offices in the national capital region, including provinces in regions I, II, III, IV-A (CALABARZON), IV-B (MIMAROPA), V and Cordillera regions, was suspended.
