Legislation to accelerate tax dispute resolution and improve tax court efficiency

The Parliament recently passed legislation—that came into effect after its publication in the official gazette—aimed at accelerating tax dispute resolutions and increasing the efficiency and quality of decisions from the tax courts. 

The legislation includes:

  • A new selection process for tax judges
  • Various measures to improve the efficiency of tax litigation
  • A new amnesty program to reduce the number of disputes before the Supreme Court
