Phil currently leads KPMG’s US Advisory Risk Consulting Technology Risk Service Line and US and Global Risk Consulting Emerging Technology Risk (ETR) Service Network. He also leads KPMG’s Global RC2020 ETR priority solution. He has over 29 years of experience providing information technology consulting and assurance services to clients across a variety of industries. He spent the first eleven years of his career in KPMG’s financial services audit practice. Over the last eighteen years he has advised clients and their boards in managing technology and the related risks including IT Governance, Information Security and Privacy, Business and Finance Transformation, ERP/GRC System Implementations and Optimization, Strategic Sourcing, Regulatory Compliance, Vendor Management, Business Continuity, IT Audit and Audit Planning, Technology Integration, and Attestations. Most recently, Phil has focused his efforts on the technology and enterprise risk from emerging and disruptive technologies (i.e. Cloud Computing, Social Media, Mobile Enterprise, Internet of Things, Blockchain, Robotics, etc).

Professional and Industry Experience

  • He is the Lead Account Partner for Fiserv (MPP Strategic Account).
  • Previously, he led KPMG’s Global IT Audit practice, KPMG’s Midwest IT Audit and Assurance practice, and was the Midwest Risk Management Technology Risk Consultation partner.
  • Phil was selected to participate in KPMG’s Lead Partner Academy, developed by KPMG to enhance leadership skills and be successful Lead Account Partners.
