Tony Castellanos has more than 30 years of experience serving multinational clients across several industry sectors, with a concentration in technology, media and telecommunications (TMT). He serves as the global lead partner for KPMG LLP (KPMG) on several multinational TMT sector accounts, and has served as the lead tax partner on many TMT clients over the years. In addition to serving as media and entertainment industry leader for KPMG’s Tax practice, Tony is also KPMG’s U.S. Markets and Industries leader for Tax. In this role, he is responsible for supporting KPMG’s U.S. market strategy in Tax, including execution of a consistent go-to-market approach and integration of services to meet the cross-functional needs of clients across industries and geographies. In October 2015, Tony was also elected by his partners to serve on the board of KPMG in the United States for a five-year term. As a lead partner, Tony manages overall client relationships and service delivery, including leading engagement teams of partners and staff on wide ranging client service engagements and proposals across KPMG’s audit, tax, and advisory services portfolio. He is accomplished in delivering and managing tax consulting and accounting services, involving tax planning approaches that align with client business objectives, structuring of acquisitions/divestures, process and technology improvements, and outsourcing programs.
