Elaine leads indirect tax services as a Partner at KPMG in Singapore.

Having specialised in the goods and services tax (GST) domain for more than 20 years — including a three-year stint in the GST division at the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore — Elaine is able to provide in-depth expertise on a range of issues, such as the restructuring of transactions to achieve GST efficiency, the implications of day-to-day business transactions on GST, GST due diligence, free trade agreements and the application process for the Assisted Compliance Assurance Programme (ACAP).

She is also involved in GST prudential reviews and the preparation of customised GST procedures manuals. 

Her client portfolio comprises both local and multinational companies, spanning the insurance, healthcare, manufacturing, transport, energy and trading industries.
