Navigating sanctions compliance and optimizing screening capabilities
Welcome to a breakfast seminar where we will delve into the new guidelines issued by the European Banking Authority on internal policies, procedures and controls to ensure the implementation of Union and national sanctions. We will focus on critical elements and provide practical insights into its implication for financial institutions.
We will also focus on the latest report by the Swedish financial supervisory authority's on banks’ sanctions screening systems to understand the expectations and possibilities for optimization.
In order to support you with insights on how to optimize screening capabilities, we have invited Josh Mackley who will join us on this occasion. Josh is a Senior Manager in the Financial Crime Technology team in the UK and has worked primarily with screening technology for 8 years. He has provided system testing and tuning for over 40 clients as well as in-depth Fircosoft support for our largest global banking clients and review/enhancement of wider sanctions frameworks.
