The new Customs Law was adopted with the aim of simplifying, modernizing and rationalizing customs procedures. The key change is the introduction of electronic customs clearance, but due to the lack of appropriate IT support, bylaws have not introduced changes that significantly affect the way customs procedures are implemented.
