      Biljana joined KPMG Serbia in 2004 and has a significant experience in tax review, tax due diligence and tax advisory services. Her main responsibilities encompass establishing and maintaining client relationship and being responsible for quality of deliverables provided.

      Biljana is a tax advisor with deep expertise in Serbian and Montenegrin tax law, focusing on direct and indirect tax implications for businesses, including cross-border transacitons/investments, tax reviews, tax compliance services, support in communication with Serbian and Montenegrin authorities etc. 
       
      She was seconded to KPMG Frankfurt in 2008, focusing on VAT issues, in the Indirect Tax department. 
       
      Prior to KPMG, she worked at the Tax Authority, participating in drafting guidelines and instructions for coordinating operations and uniform application of tax regulations on the entire territory of the Republic of Serbia. She was a Project Team Member for the Introduction of Value Added Tax formed on the basis of the decision of the Minister of Finance and Economy (including introduction of VAT and enactment of VAT Law).
       
      Her advisory extends to VAT, corporate income tax, personal income taxes and contirbutions, with a proven track record supporting a broad range of industries such as energy, real estate, pharmaceuticals, automotive, telecommunication and more.
