Our Commitment to Social Responsibility

Here at KPMG Serbia we believe that business success goes hand in hand with responsibility toward the community. Our approach to social responsibility is rooted in sustainability, inclusion, and support for education. By actively engaging in initiatives that create positive change, we strive to make a lasting impact on society.

How we Make the Difference

We have supported numerous projects and organizations, focusing on education, inclusivity, and community development. Some of our key initiatives include:

• Long-Term Support for Education – For years, we have been running a regular initiative aimed at improving the quality of teaching and access to digital tools. Through this program, we donate laptops to educational institutions across Serbia, helping students and professors acquire and share knowledge more effectively. Beneficiaries of this initiative include the Faculty of Economics in Kragujevac, Faculty of Sport and Physical Education in Belgrade and ES Technical School „Nikola Tesla“ in Kraljevo, among others.
• Scholarship Program – We organized a scholarship program for master’s students at the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade, specifically for the International Master in Taxation and International Master in Quantitative Finance programs. Selected students received a €1,000 scholarship, internship opportunities, and the possibility of employment at KPMG.
• Humanitarian Activities for Children Without Parental Care – We organized company-wide fundraising campaigns for the Center for infant, child and youth welfare „Dragutin Filipović Jusa“. We prepared gifts and purchased essential children during Christmas and Easter holidays.
• Annual Fresh Fruit Donation – Every year during the Christmas holiday season, we deliver fresh fruit to those who need it most - Home for adults with disabilities in Zemun, Dragutin Filipović Jusa home for children without parental care, etc.
• KPMG Charity Bazaar – We organized charity bazaars in our offices to raise funds for „Zvoncica“, an organization that supports children battling cancer and their families, and also for „Centar Zvezda“ which provides care and housing for young people leaving the social protection system.
• New Year Donation – Instead of corporate New Year gifts, we donated funds to „Dečije Srce“, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of children with developmental disabilities and also to „Junior Achievement Serbia“, organization that focuses on developing entrepreneurial, financial, and business skills among young people through hands-on learning programs and competitions.
• Environmental and Inclusive Initiatives – „Cap for Handicap“ initiative combines sustainability and social inclusion. By collecting plastic bottle caps in our offices, we reduce plastic waste while supporting individuals with disabilities.
