Wassim Maksoud is a Director in KPMG Qatar’s Advisory practice and leads both the Managed Services business and the KPMG Qatar Learning Academy. He brings more than 17 years of experience helping organizations improve performance, deliver transformation programs, and achieve sustainable growth across the Middle East and Africa.
Wassim advises executive leadership teams on finance transformation, business services optimization, digital transformation, operational excellence, and organizational performance improvement. His experience spans strategy execution, stakeholder engagement, operating model transformation, ERP-enabled change initiatives, financial planning, and business growth.
Throughout his career, Wassim has led complex transformation programs across multiple industries, including government, utilities, finance, and professional services. His work includes designing finance operating models, strategic budgeting frameworks, management information systems, forecasting and performance management solutions, and technology-enabled transformation initiatives.
Wassim regularly works with C-suite executives and boards on governance, organizational transformation, and strategic decision-making. His international experience spans Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, Angola, and wider regional markets.
