Cyber / IT Security Director
Location: Karachi
Job Summary
We are looking for a senior cybersecurity leader to support the development and delivery of our information security, risk, compliance, and cyber advisory capabilities.
The role requires a strong blend of technical understanding, strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and people leadership. The ideal candidate should be able to translate business priorities into practical security initiatives, manage risk effectively, support executive-level discussions, and help strengthen security posture through people, processes, and technology.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead cybersecurity strategy, governance, policies, and operating practices aligned with business objectives;
- Oversee cyber risk management, compliance, audit support, and regulatory assurance activities;
- Support security operations, incident response, threat monitoring, and forensic readiness;
- Provide directions on data protection, encryption, identity and access management, and security architecture;
- Partner with business, technology, legal, finance, and operations teams to support risk-based decision-making;
- Present cyber risks and recommendations to senior stakeholders in clear business language;
- Lead, coach, and develop teams while promoting accountability, quality, and ethical conduct;
- Balance security, usability, business priorities, and time-to-market considerations.

Qualifications
- Cybersecurity certifications and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Preferred
- Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Computer Science, MBA, or a related advanced degree.
