Every day, we work on progress and growth for our clients. That requires top quality. Also intrinsically, we feel a tremendous motivation to do the right thing. Working at this level therefore comes with a lot of responsibilities. And because we care about our people, we encourage a good work-life balance and a healthy work culture.

Work-life balance

We encourage a good work-life balance both in and outside the office. Based on a full-time contract, our employees receive thirty vacation days, but it is possible to purchase more. We also offer training for improving the work-life balance, for example for working parents, and unlimited 1-1 coaching for a variety of private and work-related issues. Furthermore, during the summer months of July and August, we ring in the weekend at 3 p.m. with ‘Jump Start Friday’.

Monitoring the workload
Each employee is supported by a Development Manager, who not only keeps an eye on your development but also on whether the workload does not become too much. Within our Assurance teams, we work with PTO (Predictability, Teaming & Open Communication). This is a proven effective way of working that ensures that teams stay in open communication with each other, maintaining the predictability of the work and keeping you connected. This way you know, for example, that your colleague goes to a sports class every Thursday afternoon at 5 p.m. and is not available.

Working part-time
Flexibility is important for work-life balance and for attracting and retaining talent. That is why we have the option to work four days instead of five; together with your Development Manager, you choose the day that best suits your situation. It offers a solution for young parents, for example, but also for some of our own management team.

A healthy work culture

Celebrating together
Having fun with colleagues, celebrating successes and relaxing is very important for a positive working environment. That is why we undertake activities together with departments, teams, and the entire company. These include an annual summer party, sporting events, cooking workshops and, of course, Friday afternoon drinks. It is here that we also get to know each other outside of work, and build up a large network in a short time.

Mental and physical well-being
Within our organization, a lot of attention is paid to mental well-being. For example, if our employees are struggling with something, at home or at work, they can book an accessible and confidential consultation, free of charge, with a certified psychologist or lifestyle coach through business platform OpenUp. This is an online well-being platform that offers self-guided care, group classes and master classes.

Of course, physical well-being is also important. Sports are important for letting off steam and staying fit. Depending on the work location, we offer the choice of working out in the gym at the office in Amstelveen or a discount at a gym of your choice. At the office, there is always room for a pleasant walk, a game of pool, table tennis or table football.

Guidance in personal development
During their career, our people are mentored internally in their personal development, based on ambitions. This may include helping you firmly establish your own presence through storytelling but also learn strategic skills
