Onyinye Okere

Onyinye is a Partner in the Energy, Natural Resources Audit & Assurance Services in KPMG in Nigeria. She has over 18 years of experience in providing audit and audit-related services to varied clients in diverse industries including the financial services industry, consumer markets, energy and natural resources. She has deep experience in business management, strategy, audit and accounting advisory services, process reviews, system implementation, due diligence, internal control design and implementation, conversion from Nigeria Generally Acceptable Accounting Practice ‘GAAP’ to International Financial Reporting Standards “IFRS”, across several industries including banking, insurance, discount houses, assets management, pension, private equity funds, power distribution companies, oil services companies, downstream oil companies, shipping companies. She has worked on  several projects including audits of multinationals and entities listed on the Nigeria Stock Exchange.

Onyinye holds master's degrees in liberal arts, finance, and a Certificate in Corporate Finance from Harvard University (School of Extension Studies). She graduated from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, with a B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering. She is an Associate, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ACA).
