105 Pints of Blood Collected

In support to the Blood Transfusion Service, which is currently facing an acute shortage of blood, KPMG in Mauritius organised a blood donation day at its premises at Ebene. This collection was undertaken in collaboration with the National Blood Transfusion service of the Ministry of Health and Quality of Life. It was a hugely successful event with a collection of 105 pints over the day.

Su Lin Ong, Chairperson of KPMG CSR Committee declared that: “At KPMG, we strongly believe that genuine CSR goes beyond merely allocating funds; together with our employees, we continuously seek to give back to the local communities. This initiative demonstrates the willingness of our commitment as a firm to the community in Mauritius.” She further added that “It was really very heart-warming to see so many people coming forth to donate their blood for a good cause. Hopefully we can make a difference to the lives of the people who need the blood
