Auditor, aspiring baker and adept of DIY

I have always wanted to be in an evolving field of work, which will challenge me intellectually. When I was at the University in the UK, all my friends were concerned about securing a job after graduation. I caught up with the frenzy and got my first job at KPMG Manchester, before relocating to KPMG Mauritius.

Ever since, there has never been a dull moment at KPMG. I meet people from different walks of life and I am exposed to so many new opportunities – travels to different countries, interesting training programmes, enjoyable conversations, challenging client assignments. I have always wanted to join a firm which would provide me with the chance to continuously challenge myself and become an expert in my field.

At KPMG, I see that I am growing stronger as a professional while being exposed to many different clients and sets of issues I never encountered before. The nerdy side of me is proud to be able to deal with these interesting and complex challenges.

Of course, it is not always an easy road. However, there is support available at any time. Working for a firm where the environment is conducive to your personal development and where your efforts are recognised are important to me. At KPMG, I find that my hard work and contributions are always valued and rewarded.

While living my audit life to the fullest, I also find time to dedicate to my two other passions: do-it-yourself projects and baking cakes. And needless to say that I have tried some of my recipes on some (lucky?!) KPMG colleagues!

What helps me to thrive as a professional? Working with truly amazing colleagues and the passion for my profession!
