      Marina Jovanov is a Senior Associate in Consulting with professional experience in risk modeling, regulatory advisory, and quantitative analysis, primarily within the banking sector. Her key areas of focus include probability of default modeling and the enhancement and validation of the measurement of expected credit losses (ECL) in accordance with IFRS 9.

      Another key area of her expertise is implementing guidelines for managing ESG risks in banking, with an emphasis on materiality assessments, ESG strategy development, and integrating these factors into the overall risk management framework.

      Moreover, one of her primary fields of interest is machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI). She further developed her expertise by earning a certificate in GARP’s Risk and Artificial Intelligence (RAI) program, which covers AI tools and techniques, AI risks, responsible and ethical AI, and governance frameworks to ensure the responsible deployment of AI within organizations.
