Empowered to Thrive: Celebrating WellbeingThis International Women’s Day

This International Women’s Day, we came together for an inspiring session with Professor Neelika Malavige, reflecting on the importance of wellbeing, resilience, and empowering ourselves to thrive both personally and professionally.

A key theme of the session was the idea that true wellbeing is not only about lifespan, but also health span, which is living healthier, stronger, and more fulfilling lives. Through research-backed insights, Professor Malavige highlighted how regular physical activity and strength training can positively impact mental wellbeing, focus, decision-making, memory, and overall cognitive performance, helping individuals work smarter and lead healthier lives.

The discussion also connected deeply with the spirit of International Women’s Day encouraging women to embrace challenges, prioritize self-care, and invest in habits that build confidence, resilience, and long-term wellbeing. It served as a powerful reminder that when women support and uplift one another, meaningful growth and positive change follow.

More than just a session, it was an opportunity to reflect, reconnect, and celebrate the strength and potential within every woman.

Take a look at some of the moments we captured.
