      Our IT Audit team provides service-related controls around the financial reporting process, including IT application controls and IT general controls. We also serve both audit and non-audit clients in providing internal IT Audit services, IT processes and control review and advice.

      Job Description:

      • Practice Management for a portfolio of clients where IT Audit specialist involvement is needed.
      • Ensuring quality assurance on audits, team performance and assist in business development.
      • Delivery of the practice objective at the day-to-day level.
      • Effective communication on technical issues to both internal and external clients.
      • Effective planning and implementation of changes to the audit quality requirements.
      • Leading client relationships and support key client partners.
      • Responsible for review of quality of work in detail.
      • Provide appropriate training to staff members.
      • In depth understanding of core business process cycles such as: procure to pay, revenue to receivables, record to report, etc.
      • Detailed understanding of technology touchpoints in the processes and linkages to financial reporting.
      • Thorough understanding of general IT controls, ERPs (either SAP or Oracle), operating systems and databases, ERP analytics, etc.
      • Experience in end-to-end lifecycle of IT support for External Audits and ability to understand the auditing requirements with respect to IT Audit methodology are mandatory.
      • Working knowledge of Cyber Security, business continuity management and emerging technologies, data analytics.
      • Introduce innovative solutions to improve audit quality and increase efficiency.
      • Ability to respond to internal KPMG reviewer queries or external regulator queries.
      • Financial services industry experience with knowledge of business processes such as: lending, deposits, trading etc.

      Job Requirements:

      • CISA or equivalent certification is mandatory.
      • Bachelor in Finance or equivalent CA/CPA/ACCA certification or, Computer Engineering or equivalent degree/certification (Preferred).
      • A minimum of 12–15 years of experience working in supporting financial audits with Big 4, or internal audits.
      • Experience in IT Advisory, IT Audit Support or Technology Risk Consulting in a Big 4. Work experience in a Financial Service Institution will be an added advantage.
      • Any prior experience in a similar function in a Big 4.

      • Managing an IT Audit portfolio as part of the external financial audit assignments.
      • Assisting financial audit teams in identifying and leveraging IT controls whilst identifying and addressing the existing IT risks.
      • Responsible for leading field engagement teams as well as coaching and mentoring junior staff members and reviewing the work of less experienced team members.
      • Providing high quality recommendations to audit teams and clients.
      • Maintaining and delivering agreed timeframes and budgets.
      • Building a good working relationship and network within KPMG and in the marketplace.
      • Exposure in working remotely for overseas KPMG offices.

      Job Requirements:

      • 4+ years of experience working in supporting financial audits with Big 4, or internal audits in a mid-senior level; experienced as an IT Manager.
      • Preferably a CISA, CISM, or CISSP.
      • A Master/Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science or in a similar field.
      • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal with people across all levels of an organization.
      • Excellent planning and organizing skills.
      • Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously while working under deadlines.
