Alumni Dinner - 2026

The KPMG Alumni Dinner is an annual tradition that brings together former partners, colleagues, and friends of the firm for an evening of connection, reflection, and shared memories. Held each year as an exclusive event, it continues to strengthen long-standing relationships, professional networks, and engagement within the KPMG alumni community. 

Building Resilience & Renewing Hope

In 2026, the Alumni Dinner carried a deeper purpose. As one network united for one cause, the event also served as a fundraiser supporting rural education development through the upliftment of Konakumbukwewa Maha Vidyalaya. In collaboration with the Sri Lanka Air Force, the initiative focused on enhancing the learning environment of a rural school serving approximately 300 students.

Project Initiatives:

• Installation of a clean drinking water system (RO plant) for students and the wider community

• Improved classroom facilities  

• Establishment of a computer laboratory to support digital learning 

• Upgrades to sanitation and safety facilities

This initiative reflected a shared commitment to creating lasting impact beyond the evening, translating alumni engagement into meaningful support for education and community development.

Event Highlights

The evening brought together KPMG Alumni, sponsors, and invited guests for a refined and meaningful gathering. The event was honoured by the presence of distinguished guest Prof. Anil Jayantha, Minister of Labour and Deputy Minister of Finance and Planning, whose attendance added significance to the occasion.

A key moment of the evening was the recognition of outgoing Managing Partner Mr. Priyanka Jayathilaka. In appreciation of his 39 years of dedicated service to KPMG, a commemorative plaque was presented by the current Country Managing Partner Mr. Suren Rajakarier and former Managing Partner Mr. Reyaz Mihular.

The fundraiser was a successful and intimate gathering that reflected the strength of the KPMG alumni network, combining celebration with purpose in support of a shared cause.
