Hasitha has over 30 years of experience in tax and audit and possesses a top-level knowledge on tax and commercial laws in Sri Lanka. He currently heads the KPMG’s transfer pricing practices in Sri Lanka and Maldives.
Prior to joining KPMG, Hasitha spent more than nine years working with foreign offices of a big four firm, advising multinationals and other businesses on an array of transfer pricing and corporate tax issues.
Hasitha is a regular speaker at various transfer pricing seminars in Sri Lanka and Maldives. He is also a visiting lecturer on transfer pricing at the Post Graduate Institute of Management – the University of Sri Jayewardenepura – Sri Lanka and on taxation at Colombo University – Sri Lanka.
Hasitha also functioned as a member of the Taxation Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka.
