Shameel currently functions as Partner for Accounting Advisory service for KPMG in Sri Lanka. He has more than 17 years of experience in the provision of Audit and Tax related services. Shameel was the resident Partner in KPMG Maldives overseeing the Audit function and office administration till March 2018. Shameel also worked in KPMG Qatar for a period of 7 years and KPMG in Sri Lanka for a period of more than 4 years. He has conducted several trainings on IFRS and ISA for clients in the Maldives. He was the Head of training at KPMG in Qatar looking after IFRS and ISAs trainingfor the staff and IFRS training for the clients.
