Shameel is an audit partner in KPMG Sri Lanka and holds extensive experience in serving as the Engagement Partner in audit, assurance and advisory assignments for several leading entities both in Sri Lanka and overseas. He leads the Information Risk Management Team which provides support to audit teams (IRMa) with IT reviews . He has also been an Audit Partner in many IAS/IFRS Accounting/ audit assignments and is an accredited IFRS partner in Sri Lanka. Shameel is a highly experienced audit partner of the firm and having experience in wider sectors that includes banking, Insurance, Telecommunications, Airline, Manufacturing, trading, equity funds and retails. He has served clients across many large companies, in Sri Lanka, Maldives and Qatar.
