KPMG LLP announces Wanda Mellaneo as the firm’s new Managing Partner
KPMG LLP announces that effective October 1, 2024 Wanda Mellaneo will succeed Andrew Stepaniuk as Managing Partner at KPMG in the Cayman Islands. Starting April 1, Wanda and Andrew will work together as Co-Managing Partners through to Andrew’s retirement on September 30, 2024.
Wanda brings a wealth of experience to the role, working for KPMG for over 25 years, having joined the firm in 1998 as a staff accountant and promoted to the partnership in 2011.
Wanda will be the sixth Managing Partner at KPMG LLP since the firm’s inception in the Cayman Islands in 1966, and the first female Managing Partner at the firm.

Andrew retires after 29 years at KPMG LLP, of which the last 5 years were in the role of Managing Partner. He describes Wanda as the clear choice to take over his position, indicating “Wanda’s proven leadership skills, strong focus on values and her deep knowledge of the business positions her as an excellent leader for our firm."
