Justin Thomas

Justin is an Audit Partner in the Cayman Islands Asset Management practice providing audit services to investment management and investment fund clients, including hedge funds, private equity/venture capital investment companies, real estate funds, and investment advisers.

Justin has over 18 years audit experience, 15 of these in financial services with KPMG in the Cayman Islands.

Justin has served as a member of the Cayman firm’s various technical working groups and has performed Quality Review Inspections both internally and externally within KPMG.

Justin is a key member of the KPMG Cayman Islands and KPMG US working group, acting as a link between the two firms to ensure operational effectiveness and efficiency on joint audit mandates. Part of this role includes helping roll out go-to-market strategies together with KPMG US colleagues, with a specific focus on emerging managers.

Justin has broad experience with accounting, reporting, operational, and compliance requirements of investment funds, including complex investment types and products.
