Yuri leads the Private Enterprise practice for KPMG in the Cayman Islands dedicated to working with legal and corporate service providers, entrepreneurs, emerging fast growing companies and family businesses.
Yuri has more than 22 years' experience providing audit and assurance services to large public and private companies within the telecommunications, tourism, consumer markets, public sector, professional and financial services industries.
Yuri has a wide range of experience with accounting and reporting frameworks such as IFRS, US GAAP and IPSAS and has previously led the Caribbean regional audit of a listed global audit client. She has valuable experience managing large group engagements across multiple jurisdictions, while providing her clients with one main point of contact. Though her main focus relates to providing financial statement audit services, she is also often involved in providing specific advisory services to Enterprise clients across various industries including internal audit services and other assurance services.
Prior to joining KPMG in the Cayman Islands, Yuri previously worked in the KPMG Toronto and Barbados offices where she led audits of large Canadian public companies and large Canadian/Barbados subsidiaries of KPMG global clients within the consumer products, telecommunications and automotive industries.
