David is Head of Insurance for KPMG in the Cayman Islands and manages the delivery of audit, actuarial and tax services to the captive insurance industry in the Cayman Islands. He has worked with KPMG for over eighteen years, of which seventeen years’ experience has been focused within the insurance industry.
He has worked with and maintains a portfolio of clients which consist of offshore captive insurers including SPC’s, special purpose insurance linked vehicles including catastrophes bonds, large domestic insurance companies and life reinsurers.
David is a founding member of Cayman Finance’s Reinsurance Sub-committee and leads KPMG’s presence at the Cayman Captive Forum as well as a number of insurance industry conferences in the US. David has experience with clients that report in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS and currently manages a portfolio of captive insurance, reinsurers and domestic insurance audit clients.
