As the Managing Partner Wanda has ultimate accountability and responsibility for the Cayman Islands, BVI and Bahamas Firms of KPMG. This entails ensuring a firmwide commitment to the highest quality of professional services offered across all functions of Audit, Tax and Advisory underpinned by a solid system of quality management. Wanda has utilized her 26 years of experience in the practice of public accounting to foster strategic decisions and actions, including financial and operations accountability, demonstrating an overall commitment to quality and to serve our clients, stakeholders and the public with the highest professional excellence, ethics and integrity.
Wanda is a Partner in the Asset Management Practice of KPMG, with over 26 years of audit experience in alternative investment vehicles. She served as the Firm’s Head of Middle Office Audit Operations and has also served as the Firm’s Ethics & Independence (E&I) Partner for over eight years with responsibility for the implementation and monitoring of the firm’s E&I quality control procedures.
Wanda’s primary responsibilities encompass the provision of audit services to a comprehensive variety of investment vehicles, such as hedge funds, private equity funds, fund of funds, master-feeders, private investment partnerships, as well as segregated portfolio cell structures and special purpose vehicles. She also has experience auditing investment management companies. Given this client base, she has close working knowledge of offering and other legal documents, IFRS and US GAAP reporting frameworks, and performance attestation engagements.
Wanda has chaired the editorial board for a KPMG thought leadership report and has also contributed to local industry articles.
