Luke is a partner in our Audit Practice and is also the Partner for our People, Performance and Culture department. He serves as lead audit director for a global professional services group headquartered in the Cayman Islands as well as large investments funds managed and operated out of the Cayman Islands.
Luke’s audit clients include large family office funds complexes, structured finance vehicles and assets financing entities including aircraft, shipping vessels and property.
Luke joined KPMG in the Cayman Islands in 2011 in the audit group, focusing on the hedge fund and structured finance industries. Outside of audit, Luke is Head of People, Performance and Culture and leads KPMG’s initiatives around employee engagement and retention, recruitment, learning and development and succession planning.
Before joining KPMG in the Cayman Islands Luke worked for KPMG UK for 5 years. During this time, he was an audit manager working on a mixture of retail, manufacturing and not-for-profit clients. He ran induction, soft skill and technical training for new trainees of the firm and mentored students sponsored by KPMG. During UK recession in 2009 Luke worked internally on KPMG workforce management and assisted clients in their workforce and staff retention initiatives.
